Really enjoy the atmosphere and healthier options that are offered here. Breakfast is okay. I really enjoy the quinoa porridge. Brunch on weekends tend to be a bit too crowded and the service isn't the greatest. They function better when you order form counter. Lunch is wonderful. I like the addition of choice salads to my meal. Thai nights is quite expensive, but you're paying for quality food with legit taste. I've spent a great deal of time in Cambodia and Thailand and this is as close as Santa Fe gets. A bit spicier would be appreciated and addition of Khmer fish amok to the menu would be brilliant... Please!

Well we got there a bit late and they close at 3:00, but we managed to squeeze in. They were out of all their specialty sodas, which kind of sucked, but I understood why they were out (slow soda distro service). I had the breakfast burrito with green chile and bacon. Next time I'll probably order the bacon on the side because the slab was too thick to cut with the butter knife I had. Other than these minor quibbles, the food was great. Everything looked healthy. The service was quick and friendly, and they give out their Wifi password, which ups them up a star...

Well, I'm a fan because of the ambiance...Industrial chic, zen-like atmosphere nice and calming, with table adorned w/ greenery in the middle Clean lines, organic everything, wine, beer (IPA on tap). They're working on outdoor dining for the coming warmer months. Was killing time there while car being fixed at nearby Automative Resources (AAA) recommended). They are also a drop-off point for the local farming initiative.

Went here for thai night. The food was layered with fresh complexities that left you wanting more. The Thom-Thum (excuse the spelling) soup was one of the best soups I have had in Santa Fe. The pad thai was better than most. Each dish had fresh greens and herbs. Well done. They are severely understaffed or the service needs significant training. The server dropped off the meal and took off...essentially, never to be seen again. Some would call it magic, I call it terrible service. Too bad, we were looking forward to some desert and a cup of coffee. Maybe next time.

Had brunch here on Sunday very nice. Their menu is simply and good. I enjoyed their Watermelon Fresca, it is very refreshing. They also have a nice patio area to dine in while visiting and the service was professional and fast.

The dishes were dish-liscious! We had the Strata, the Vietnamese sandwich and the house salad.

Everything we ordered was delicious!! These were the best homemade chips we found in Santa Fe and the mango guacamole was a creative touch. The quinoa spinach cakes, roasted veggies and kale were perfectly cooked. The cheese grits had just the right amount of green chiles and the shrimp was perfectly seasoned. Excellent meal!

This place is off the beaten path, away from the usual Santa Fe restaurants. It's a really cute space and comfortable atmosphere. We went on Wednesday night, which was Thai night. We started with the vegetarian rice paper rolls, which were super fresh. I had the Tom Yum soup, which was loaded with jalapeños. I like spicy food, but this was a little too much for me. There wasn't as much of a coconut taste as I am used to in such a soup. I think they try to use what veggies they have fresh. There were red and green bell peppers, cilantro, and cauliflower in the soup. I also tried the Pad Thai, which was very good. I recommend this place for the atmosphere and as something different from the typical Santa Fe fare.

This is one of the best restaurants in town! After moving back to Santa Fe from LA I was so pleased to find we had a fantastic healthy, delicious, and reasonably priced place to eat. I love New Mexican food as much as anyone else but you have to be able to balance it out with wholesome food like this. The ricotta flax lemon pancakes are to die for and of course they serve with pure maple syrup. The salad trio is always delicious. I LOVE that they serve homemade kombucha. This is by far one of my favorite places to eat in Santa.

4-13-13 Had an amazing meatloaf dish with excellent cole slaw. Friend had shrimp and grits with an egg he said he enjoyed. Another ordered a cheese and pear sandwich that was really tasty. Update: 9-25-13 Had the lamb burger, which was perfectly flavored, with an amazing parsnip and rutabaga soup. Just fantastic! Finished off with the best blueberry pie I have ever had. And the staff is terrific. Friendly and helpful.

This is my lunchtime happy place -- I've ordered a variety of things, and you can't go wrong. My favorite is the sesame soba noodle and kale salad -- there's something about the dressing that just makes your life go zing!

Absolutely loved this place-- will definitely be a new spot for every time we visit Santa Fe. My mother, my sister, and my two and a half year old niece were the ones with me, and we all enjoyed our time spent there. For Sunday brunch/lunch, there was a great live music duo with some soft music that added to the ambiance. I ordered a cup of the turkey tortilla soup (very wonderful) and also the shrimp and grits (wonderful as well). I loved the Gluten Free, Vegetarian and Vegan options. Everything seemed so fresh and organic. It wasn't until leaving that we noticed the little children's area with books, puzzles and stuffed animals. It was a great little corner that would be helpful with entertaining children if needed. Overall, this place is a top recommendation for a meal in Santa Fe!

I appreciate suuporting local farmers but if you are going to feature yourself as an organic restaurant you really need to use non gmo ingredients. Genetically modified foods are banned in many european countries and labeled as "frakenfood." Virtually all non organic corn is gmo. Even Trader Joes states all trader joe products are non gmo. The integrity issue of selling gmo products while calling yourself organic is obvious to anyone who is concerned and educated in natural nutrition or simply trying to avoid eating frankenfood.

Love the breakfast here. Omelette with sweet potato hash and black beans was lovely. They also have fresh lemonade, agua fresca, and herbal tea. Lemonade with hibiscus tea mixture was really nice. The place is light and airy and they have some outdoor seating as well.

I had the soba and kale salad with grilled tofu and a matcha latte. The soba was perfect (not gummy or sticking); the kale was crispy and not overcooked; and the dressing wasn't too salty and had just the right amount of citrus tang. I'll likely revisit Sweetwater sometime to try out some of the other dishes. Just to get this out of the way, prices are slightly higher than I would like for the portion size, since the portion sizes are the size that you *should* eat, rather than the enormous "American-size" portions that many of us are used to, especially in New Mexico. However, taking into account what keeping a restaurant open in Santa Fe costs; the fact that this price range probably makes it *more* appealing to the upper middle class, artsy crowd that this place seems to be catering to (at least those were the people present when I went, which might make some feel uncomfortable); and most importantly the **fresh ingredients and crisp flavors**, I think that the price is worth it, although I personally probably wouldn't become a regular there because I'm cheap and try not to eat out more than once a week. For those who want to know more about the ambiance and service, the interior is bright and happy attempting for a charming urban-loft feel, which also contributes to the fact that Sweetwater seems to appeal to a more hip (and white) crowd than a run-of-the-mill restaurant in the part of Santa Fe that isn't near the Plaza. There aren't terribly many tables, at least it didn't seem that way, since it was crowded, even though I was there for early lunch on a weekday, so it seems like reservations might be a good idea for dinner, especially for larger parties. The service was very friendly and helpful.

I'm sorry. I'm not a very demanding customer. Give me food. I will eat it. But if you charge me $8 dollars for a cup of baby spinach with cucumber that a toddler could have put together when we were playing kitchen.... And the you bring me an overlook paella with some of the rice overdone and some still crunchy.... Not once the waiter asked how everything was. HE KNEW MY COMMENT WOULD BE NEGATIVE. Why bother!! All in all I could have put this meal in the table for less than $3 and charge my time $5. Instead if triple the amount they charged.

This place is super cute! The menu is light, organic and filled with healthy options like steamed kale with your eggs, sweet potato hash and gf bread. The buck wheat pancakes were also awesome. I would come back and bring my kiddo! The only problem is the parking is horrible.

Food is tasty, lovely setting. Our server was graceless and curt, offered no greeting when he arrived to take our orders, unceremoniously stuck his iPad with our receipt in front of my face as soon as our dinner plates were removed, never offered my husband or myself coffee, tea, or dessert menus, even when I asked my husband in his presence if he wanted coffee-he didn't take the hint. Won't want to eat here again if we have to deal with that waiter.

Kind of a weird experience. Everyone looked busy, but there were only 10 people in the place and it took 15 minutes to even say hello after we were seated. The person cleaning the tables and bringing food was great and fast, but the host and waitress seemed, well . . . unconcerned. More focused on their ipads than the customers. They didn't seem to notice how many people were serving themselves - getting silverware, cream, napkins, etc. from the staging table with somewhat exasperated looks on their faces. The food was clearly quality, but under-seasoned. Why serve unsalted butter with unsalted pancakes? It is heartbreaking to see how great it all could be and how close, but missed the mark this morning.

Such a great find as we traveled through Santa Fe. Modern, earthy decor - awesome atmosphere. Real food, cooked and flavored perfectly with allergen free and gluten free options available. The mango guacamole was delicious, as were the lamb burgers and quinoa harvest platter. Despite it's chic atmosphere, they even have toys for the kids to play with while they wait. Super impressed. We'll definitely stop by again coming through town.

A very brief review----lovely space and atmosphere but not so great service, (our waiter ate their dinner at another table in between our courses as we waited for our food), we received food we didn't order.....overall bland and overpriced. So sorry Sweetwater, wanted to love you but it's seriously lacking, taste, service, portions, all of it was wrong. It was painfully clear the owners were not there. Bottom line was clear, crap food with the ever present "local, organic", blah, blah, but did not deliver in taste or quality. You have such potential, but it needs to be stepped up a lot.

I came here based on Yelp reviews and was a bit disappointed, it is a bit too hipster trendy for me. I got the baked eggs which came with a sweet potato hash, toast, and "seasonal greens" ( which turned out to be unseasoned steamed kale and julienned carrots). The hash was mushy but otherwise fine, the toast dry (no jam or butter was available either), and the eggs unset which I do not like. I left hungry and unsatisfied with the bland flavors and watery coffee.

Came here looking for a fresh and healthy breakfast and left very satisfied! We ordered the sweetwater omelette, breakfast burrito Christmas style (green and red chili sauce), and the lemon ricotta pancakes. All were delicious. The omelette had kale and avocado inside with sides of black beans and sweet potato has. While I didn't try the breakfast burrito, the chili sauces had great, spicy flavor. The lemon ricotta pancakes were incredibly moist, yet I had a hard time finding the lemon. Overall a great meal!

Our first time to Sweetwater Harvest Kitchen a week or so ago while visiting Santa Fe. I LOVED it! The upscale happening ambience, the fresh wholesome food was a treat! My husband had the Breakfast burrito with delicious sweet potatoes & black beans all smothered in Christmas (green & red) chili....I had the buckwheat banana pancakes that were great with a nice side of fresh fruit. I also had the BEST soy latte I've ever tasted! It offers a great selection of healthy whole foods to accommodate vegans & vegetarians. It's a great place to enjoy a lesuriely breakfast....with Wi-Fi, etc....we lingered over coffee and did a NYT crossword puzzle! We will definitely return - we like to try lunch & dinner. We did ride our bikes there and it was easy to lock them on their back fence.

Absolutely fell in love with this healthy, delicious and quality oasis in the heart of Santa Fe. If you are traveling and looking for some fresh, made to order food, stop here. I had a Quinoa salad with Tahini dressing and some of the freshest greens on my vacation. I also tried the Mead flight, the hibiscus/lemonade cooler and a freshly brewed cup of Red Rock Brewing Black Magic coffee. It was so good I bought a point of whole beans to take with me. I am not on a strict gluten-free, vegan diet, but I will say they have great options for those with dietary and nutritional needs. Give Sweetwater Harvest a visit when in Santa Fe, I know I'll be back.

We just walked into this place at 2:25, they said, "Kitchen is closed for winter hours" (with resting bitc* face). No apologies offered (or cookies), for their obviously lazy online presence. When I told them that yelp said they're open until 3, they didn't care. They just continued to stare blankly. How sad. Such a lovely place ruined by rude middle aged women.

I was really disappointed with this place. Firstly, I thought they were vegan friendly but when I went for Sunday brunch there was only one vegan item on the entire menu. If you didn't want an Indian coconut milk curry with rice, you were out of luck. I chose a modified salad instead and found it to be overly sweet but otherwise bland and unbalanced (massive pile of arugula with some quinoa sprinkled on top...quinoa needs to be a bit more present in a dish in order for it to make any difference in taste or texture, in my opinion.) My omnivore dining companion got a salad and he also seemed underwhelmed (didn't eat much of it.) I ordered a smoothie in the hope of getting some extra protein and, again, the balance seemed way off; the only taste was banana even though it was billed as an Almond Butter Cup. The consistency of it was pretty gross after only 10 minutes or so. The help was not particularly attentive but the place was clean and the dining space is attractive. The food came out quickly. Very unhappy with the vegan options and with the quality of food here. I'm only visiting Santa Fe so it's not as though I could have ever become a regular, but I will certainly not be back under any circumstances.

Sweetwaters just suites my taste. I'd be happy with any one of a half dozen or more entrees. Food is so fresh, so differently delicious; wines primo. Staff efficient, enthusiastic, warm. What could be better on a cold, rainy winter night in Santa Fe. Fish soup tonight.

Well...I have tried Sweetwater several times. I have never been completely satisfied, with the place, food, quality, price and service. It has great potential, but it lacks so much. Starting with the spaced out service and cooks. It seems like my order is always wrong, which begins with the people taking my order to the cooks and finally arriving to my table. It's only counter service, yet it has been one of the worst in town. No attention to detail or modifications or add-ons, on orders. Besides the fact that it could get very expensive if you add anything...Then the cooks get the order, manage to either follow through with the order presented or mess it up on their end. By the time it gets to me, it seems like it's been sitting at the window for a while. Most of the time, the food is not hot and freshly placed on the plate. One time, the sweet potatoes weren't cooked all the way and the eggs were cooked too much. Another time, it took too long to come out. Another, the order was wrong, etc... A friend of mine, has gone 3 times. Every single time, they forgot (?!) about her order. And didn't even offer to refund her money or give her anything for their mix up...Needless to say, she will never be going back, even after she have it a chance. The space is beautiful, yet it's very loud and cold. The quality should be outstanding, since it's so raved about, but lacks something. Maybe balance, finesse, follow-through...attention? The prices are insane! The service is terrible. The one good thing, without question, is their coconut nectar. It's amazing...If they have any available.

Had weekday lunch. Busy but orderly. Ordered lamb burger with green goddess salad. The communal table is nice for single diners. You get your silverware from a central table (which no one told me when I ordered). The lamb was OK, good but not amazing. The salad was tasty but served room temperature instead of cold.

Made a reservation after reading all the great reviews. If you're from Denver, this is like a five star Watercourse? :D Loved our vegetarian fare. Perfect Albariño wine with carrot ginger soup starter. Husband had a wildflower pilsner and loved it. Shared ginger squash enchiladas w mole sauce and a giant salad. Chai flan for dessert. Service was great. Decor upbeat & friendly/warm. A-Frame design = soaring ceiling. Fun products to peruse. I was confused about the New Mexico wines on tap thing. The wines are not from New Mexico. Rather, this is the first place to have wines on tap in the state? But pretty darn awesome for tap wines!! Maybe NM wines are not too good yet? Hmm... No biggie. The chai flan was gorgeous, but had a weird after taste to me. It could use a raspberry or something else on top maybe to balance it out? Would have loved some flatbreads or baby GF muffins something to nosh on because we were starved, but service was pretty fast. All in all a near perfect meal! We would absolutely come back. Live music was a real treat on our first night rolling into town.

As a local Santa Fean, Sweetwater used to be my favorite restaurant. So when my family came to town for my birthday recently, I chose Sweetwater for my birthday dinner. Sooooooo disappointing!!! It began with the soup, which was a intended to be a hot course but was served room temperature. My sister's salad was served without the avocado dressing that makes it special. This was later brought to the table after two requests. My vegetarian entree, comes with a 'mushroom parcel' which was actually cold and congealed. I NEVER send food back, but did so that night. When the owner came around asking if everything was "OK," I informed her about my mushrooms. "Well, other than that, how is everything?" No apology, nada. My brother-in-law's entree was so spicy he couldn't finish it. There are plenty of great restaurants in Santa Fe...I will be finding a new favorite for special occasions!

Great Sunday brunch for a vegetarian family. We enjoyed absolutely all the food, coffee and the waiter was very cool. My wife had the huevos rancheros, my son the pancakes (huge!) and I tried the quinoa cakes. Nothing was left except a few bites of pancakes. The food was fresh, fast and the live music nice without being too loud.

Let me preface this review by saying that if you are looking for new agey food, Sweetwater may be a good fit for you. We just wanted a good typical New Mexico breakfast before leaving town. We weren't crazy about the menu. That being said, I got an omelette that had over ripe stringy avacodo. My husband's eggs were over hard but were supposed to be over medium. The pancakes were delicious but came with a piece of kale stuck to one of the cakes. I honestly think that the cook was off his game that day. They did comp us for the omelette, and the staff was friendly but slow. Like I said, if you want that type of menu, it's a good choice, but be ready for black beans instead of pintos, sweet potatoes instead of white potatoes, and whole wheat tortillas instead of white ones.

Hey, it's Asian night at Sweetwater... Wanna go out for sinner tonight? Yes? Ok let's go. We arrived at 5:30 sharp... We made reservations but at 5:30 there were only two other groups already seated and for us this is rather important. I'll explain... We are both hard core vegan/ vegetarians as in no meat, fish or egg. By arriving early the kitchen staff are less busy and there is probability that your order will be free of unwanted items... Like a slab of pork. We both ordered the wonderful Tom Yum soup... Yes it was yummy. She ordered the Pad Thai... I ordered the Thai Cambodian curry... I was only so so ok with my selection, it had a funny taste that did not seem right and I am not able put my finger on what was off but it was...off that is. She was into her Pad Thai although she was not to impressed in general when she held up a slab of what looked to be chicken. We were clear to our order taker, no meat, no chicken, no fish, no egg. But there is was a slab of chicken. A dead animal in the pad Thai. How does this happen in a place that makes a point of saying we offer veg selections? Now, if you are a meat eater this would not be a big deal, in fact one could argue that it could be a bonus! But to folks who are life long vegans this is a serious infraction of the rules of their lives. When a restaurant claims to provide vegan/veg eats and can not deliver for what ever reason then there is a problem... But it will not be our problem. I will take my vegan/ veg ass else where. Sweetwater thank you and good bye! Ps they only charged us for the really good soup,

We eat out often in NYC and I have to say that Sweetwaters more favorably compared to our fave NYC haunts in the following ways: 1. Something for everyone GF, Vegan, Pescatarian, carnivore 2. Food was uber fresh and as a result, delicious 3 Price point - mid price for exceptional quality and service 4. Great eclectic warm welcoming ambience Recommend - shrimp and grits, lamb, beet salad, peach mead. I also had the Kombuchi which they make and it is delicious! Unusual and fresh food, something delicious for every special diet and great service = MAKE RESERVATIONS IN ADVANCE! And enjoy - you won't be disappointed with this one.

Fantastic food! Veggie friendly. Great lunch spot - a great find just a few mins from Cerrillos Rd and St. Michael's. They take a lot of pride in their cooking. The coffee was strong and excellent, and their lunch items were really, really delicious.

We're done eating at the Sweetwater. We have been there 3 times. The service, while friendly, is glacially slow. The food is decent, but not special and overpriced. The atmosphere is nice, but the temperature is not well controlled. It could be way too hot or too cold. The last time they brought my husband's beer but forgot my wine and I had some flotsam in my salad that came from someone else's meal.

Upon seeing the excellent star rating for this place, a friend & I decided to grab brunch. They do the whole local food thing, but a good philosophy doesn't equal flavor. I was pretty excited to get a dish made with "the good stuff" as great ingredients always make a good meal, or so I thought. It was at this restaurant that I consumed a completely bland plate of huevos rancheros. I thought it was impossible to make that dish without any flavor, but they managed it. My friend had the smoothie with beets and we were convinced that it was just blended beets as it had their earthy sweetness, but the other ingredients were undetectable. Sorry to the owners, but you've got to step your game up.

This was an absolutely delightful restaurant. The ambience is a mixture of modern design and santa fe cozy that was engaging and relaxing. The local guitarist playing soft hawaiian music left our entire family smiling. The food was terrific and well prepared. We started with the pumpkin hummus which was rich and flavorful. We all but licked the bowl it was served in. Wine and beer menus were not extensive, but we had no problem finding something we enjoyed. For main course, I had the spicy green curry tofu special with rice. Simply said, it was delicious. I was especially surprised that it included pineapple, which I am not normally a fan of in entrees, but in this dish it was interesting and complemented the dish well. My son enjoyed the green chile shrimp and grits. My three year old (and me) enjoyed the quinoa cakes with roasted mushrooms and green chile, cilantro rice. The service was friendly and timely. We even got to meet the owner and share a couple of old stories about us both living in Marin County. The ipad checkout process was an eco-friendly step forward in what is a tired process at most restaurants. From first impression to last, this wonderful little restaurant promises and delivers elegance, quality, simplicity and competence. I can't wait to return on my next visit to Santa Fe.

Amazing brunch options. Our table of five tried five different dishes and everything was fabulous. Healthy, fresh options. Order the breakfast burrito - fried egg, black beans and butternut squash, and of course topped with Christmas salsa! Don't forget to order a fresh juice drink. Great vibe. Sonoma feel.

I love this new restaurant in Santa Fe. The food is incredibly yummy and healthful. I love the quinoa for breakfast, and the curry is absolutely perfect. The atmosphere and decor are so lovely, warm, nurturing and open. There is a great community table in the heart of the dining room that has an herb garden growing down the center. I always see quite a few people I know here, and I'm not surprised. I look forward to sampling more items on the menu.

I did a search for "healthy, yummy" food and Sweetwater popped up. I read the reviews quickly as I was already running late (this, after arriving at our hotel only to learn it was overbooked...but that's another saga) and just wanted a yummy dinner for me and my kids before heading to a show. I honestly didn't even know the type of food, only that other reviews used words like 'fresh', 'vegetables', 'quinoa', and 'organic'. Honestly, at that point, I didn't even care what kind of food it was because my buzz words had been hit. I was pleasantly surprised that the menu was mostly Thai inspired for dinner. The kids were thrilled with their pad thai that was a chicken/tofu combo. It was a large enough portion for 2 kids to share, not too spicy yet perfectly seasoned. I had the special, green curry, and was thrilled! It was spicy, but not overly so. There was plenty chicken, green beans and fresh peppers. The portion was larger than what I usually get at other Thai restaurants. Along with an ice cold wheat beer, it was perfection. They even worked some magic to get the food to the table within minutes once I said that I had limited time. Because of that, we were able to eat slowly and enjoy every delicious morsel. I'm still a little confused if the menu is always thai-based, but I think I would eat what they made no matter the origin. Considering all of the over-priced restaurants in town. I would so much rather eat here again. Bill for 2 dishes and a drink was $40 with tip.

If I could invent the restaurant of my dreams, this would be it. It's beautiful inside without being the slightest bit fancy-pants. The soaring peaked roof makes me feel like I am in a cathedral of local, organic, sustainable, health-boosting AND delicious food. The owners are so kind, approachable, and gracious. The menu is fresh, innovative, and fairly priced. We enjoyed the Valentines prix fixe last night--each small plate course was like a brief Emily Dickinson poem. Every time I go there, I fall more deeply in love with all the best that Santa Fe has to offer. It's kid-friendly while also feeling sophisticated in a homey way. It's health-conscious, with gluten free, vegan, and raw options, while also having choice beer and wine on tap (plus wine bottles too). I wish I could eat there every day! We order takeout from here the other night and were impressed with all the dishes we got. Green goddess salad was so refreshing and hearty at the same time, and the fall harvest plate with quoinoa cake and kale and mushrooms was outstanding. Salmon was cooked well with good flavor. Only drawback was we were told our order would be ready in 10-15 minutes and it wasn't actually ready until 35 minutes later.

Sweetwater is unlike any restaurant I've ever been to. The owners are clearly fanatical about providing food and drink that is fresh, sustainably sourced, and downright delicious. Portions are moderately sized which means you can easily mix and match between appetizers and entrees so as to explore several menu items in a single visit. The beer selection is interesting & adventurous. They pour their wines using some fancy-pants state-of-the-art technology so that you don't have to worry about getting a glass with that dreaded "bottle was corked 2 days ago" taste. For what you get, the prices seem absurdly low. A restaurant in Santa Fe offering this quality of food in such a nice atmosphere could charge literally twice as much without raising eyebrows.

Had a great meal there with friends recently. The prices are a little high, but the prixe fixe makes it more affordable. Looking forward to trying lunch there sometime. Good quality ingredients, great flavors. Joins our short list of good mid-range places to eat at in Santa Fe.

Went to check it out after an interesting review in the New Mexican ( santafenewmexican.com/Lo… ) Excellent place - I had a breakfast burrito, smothered in red. Soft, almost creamy tortilla collected a wonderful fresh egg, bacon (additional), and other assorted goodies. It's bright, cheerful, relaxing (free wi-fi) and definitely return.

Well, I wish I could review this restaurant. The food we saw being eaten all around us looked pretty tasty. Unfortunately, after waiting 20 minutes to be seated (at a table that was open but never bussed), 10 minutes to get silverware, 15 to get menus and another 15 to get someone to take our order (actually, it could have been longer, but we gave up), we decided to take our lunch business elsewhere. So I can't actually comment on the food. After a good 30 minutes of waiting for someone to notice us, trying and failing to make eye contact with any of the servers in the dining room, one member of our party decided to walk to the counter to see if we could get our (?) server to come take our order. She said she was sorry, and then promptly walked over to another table and took THEIR order and then disappeared again. At that point we'd waited an hour total and had reason to believe we'd be there another hour or two if we actually wanted to have a meal. So we gave up. I hated to do it -- the food looked good -- but the service was simply atrocious. I might try again, but I think I will wait a bit to see if they can get their kinks worked out first.

Why would anyone want to go there? It is a good example of how often healthy food has only that to recommend it. Dreary room. Flaky service. My two dishes tasted exactly the same, some kind of broth with packaged curry powder thrown in. No nuance, no subtlety . Besides her flakyness our server communicated that she was doing us a favor. Sometimes you have to go to a place like this because somebody has some special food requirements and can't cook. . But there are so many ways to spend money in Santa Fe to get real pleasure, that, except for the special circumstance, one would be crazy to go back here.

I recently had the pleasure to eat here with my love and his best friend and we immensely enjoyed our food and the ambiance. I had the Indian Curry and was pleased by the savory coconut sauce. My love and his friend had the Quinoa Cakes and roasted vegetables. We all loved our food and would definitely go there again! Side note: two of the servers had called in sick the day we went, and the rest of the staff worked extra hard to fill in for them. They were all joyful in spite of the extra work. Great attitudes to be around!

Excellent lunch! Unique menu - a little Vietnamese, American and New Mexico Mexican. Had a BLT w/ green chilies and cheese. Table mate had the chicken enchiladas. Both great dishes.

NOt a good meal. Best thing about the evening was the man playing the guitar. I began with the Arugula, Beets + Orange salad which contained micro pieces of beet and flavorless mozzarella bites. My friend began with the Sweetwater House Salad which was so overloaded with almond pieces it would have just been better to call it an almond puree salad.. Main courses were even worse with my Shrimp and grits- tail on flavorless shrimp over a bed of gritty grits and some oil poured all over causing a ring of oil on the bowl. Really disgusting. THe other main course was the sloppy and flavorless Chicken Biriyani. Really sorry to say I'm loosing trust in my fellow Yelpers here. How could anyone this this place is good is just beyond me.

Super super delicious. We ordered the chicken banh mi sandwich, the turkey melt, and the soba noodles/tofu/kale w/added shrimp for our main dishes and they were all superbly prepared. The lemonades were the right amount of sweet and tart and we had a berry/flax smoothie that was extremely filling and berrylicious. As for the dessert -- the banana cream pie was a sight to see and it was just as tasty, as was the gluten-free strawberry shortcake. We will definitely be coming back. This place is a gem of a keeper.

Ordered the shrimp and grits. Asked for egg to be well done and no bacon. Came with a runny egg and bacon. To save food waste I picked off the bacon but sent the egg back. When it arrived at the table it was a crispy brown disk. The chef should be embarrassed. There are a million ways to cook a well done egg and I suggest he learn some. Shrimp and grits were ok if you consider grits with a thick layer of butter and thyme to be appetizing. Customer service also needs some help. The guy that delivered the food was annoyed to take the egg back. And the owner off-handedly asked if I wanted a refund where she should have insisted I have one. Too bad.

My husband and I went there for lunch. Parking is a bit of a challenge for the lot is rather small and serves multiple businesses. Upon entering I was struck by the very pleasant high ceilings and multiple windows. The furnishings are simple, comfortable, and has a sparse open feel that is very pleasing. You place your order at the counter and then find your own seating and your order is brought to you. I had the roasted turkey melt with green chiles and cheese with a green goddess salad. The sandwich was fabulous with very flavorful honest to goodness roast turkey on a wonderful artisan bread. It was a generous hearty sandwich. The salad was light and refreshing with romaine lettuce, walnuts, Parmesan and a delicate vinaigrette. Very satisfying. My husband had the veggie burger with arugula, orange, and beet salad. He was very pleased with both items. It's great to have salad and a sandwich for lunch and they not be the same old lettuce and tomato salad with bland turkey on an uninteresting bread. We both had the lemonade which was good, not too tart. We will be back...and soon.

Very pleasant restaurant to dine in, lots of light, a guitar player in the background. Our waitress did show up a couple times, not counting the time she went by and asked over her shoulder how everything was. She didn't ask me if I wanted a refill on my coffee, but that was ok since the coffee was tepid and tasted like it had been sitting around for awhile. The carrots on my wife's plate were drastically under cooked while the cauliflower and sqush were overcooked. The rice on my plate was overcooked. Both plates were not cooked properly. Very disappointing, we had hoped for much better.

Stopped by for lunch having read about this place in the current issue of edible. I like to support new start-ups. The food was great, the space is well done. I had the sunny side flatbread - yummy. Give it a try.

Having made a reservation there for a post-wedding celebration with friends, I totally get what some of the reviewers are saying about the service at this relatively new restaurant. They apparently lost our reservation and so we stood in the middle of the doorway--there's really no place to sit or to go in the middle of this great open space--for what ended up being a pretty long time. Did I mention that we had just gotten married and had made a reservation so that we could be seated right after the ceremony? They did ask if one couple, recently seated at a table appropriate for a much larger party would move for us...they were not willing to budge. What more can you do? Anyway, I went over to the hostess and prompted them to pay attention to the fact that we were just standing around in the middle of nowhere and that we did have reservations. She came over with a complementary sparkling glass of wine for the bride and took our drink orders...that was a big hit. And, it was really, really really, all uphil from there. Once we were seated, the server was efficient, jovial, and very competent. And the food was simply amazing!! In addition to the fact that the prix fixe was $19.00 for three courses--all of which were well portioned and superbly prepared--the entrees were unique and truly delicious. Across all of us, we got a range of the entree selections--the shrimp & grits with bacon were salty, and cheesy, with the shrimp done just right; the duck was plentiful, delicious, and virtually fat free; the flatbread was light and very flavorful; and the pork & posole was a real fusion of flavors. The pasta special was good...maybe not outstanding...but the ingredients were fresh and well prepared. We didn't have desert, all quite full from our three courses, but they looked yummy!! I think this place is worth revisiting, but they should take some time to work out the kinks on the service end of the enterprise. I'll be back!!

This place is off the beaten-path, yet easy to find and a great concept. I loved the feeling inside of the restaurant and the staff was friendly and helpful. We ordered way more than we needed so we left feeling kind of sick but it wasn't because of the food - in fact it tasted so good we couldn't stop eating even though we were so full! The buckwheat pancakes are delicious. The only thing is that they come with a side of cut apples and grapes, not really the best combo for pancakes. Something savory would have been better. Also, we tried the gluten-free option for the burrito - which I am stoked they offered - but it was really tough and brittle. I know this is the potential with gluten-free but after having a really good breakfast burrito at the gluten-free bakery Cafe Revolution, I know there are other options out there. That's my only suggestion - otherwise I wish I lived there so I could return sooner!

Don't tip at the cash register before you get your food. It took forever and we had to go back and get our own drinks. Food was not even that good. Vibe was nice but I don't see the point of tipping when you have to get everything yourself. If I'm gonna help myself, I'm gonna keep my tip to myself.

Please!

The food is well prepared with fresh ingredients. However most of the dishes lacked flavor and needed additional seasoning. We ordered sides of chile sauce and salad dressing for this chore.

Please!

The food is well prepared with fresh ingredients. However most of the dishes lacked flavor and needed additional seasoning. We ordered sides of chile sauce and salad dressing for this chore.

Local ingredients. High quality food. A wide variety of food on the menu with great seasonal selections. I had the meat ball soup and vegetable curry with a porter beer from left hand brewery. Everything was delicious.

Some dishes are good but not excellent. The food can be inconsistent. The quinoa cakes are delish. Prices are a tad high.

(5)
Julie D.
Don't tip at the cash register before you get your food. It took forever and we had to go back and get our own drinks. Food was not even that good. Vibe was nice but I don't see the point of tipping when you have to get everything yourself. If I'm gonna help myself, I'm gonna keep my tip to myself.

Please!

(1)Christina R.

(5)John M.
We try real hard to eat good honest god, but when traveling it can be hard. Not here at Sweetwater Harvest. We had a great breakfast made with real food. The atmosphere is open and airy and comfortable. We will eat here again.
(5)Jana D.
Quinoa cakes are so good!!! I like the farm to market food selections the energy is really good here. I've eaten here maybe a hand full of times and it's always good!

(2)Madi M.

(2)Jordana G.

(5)Enid F.
We really enjoyed our breakfast. The breakfast burrito was delicious and so where the huevos rancheros!
(5)Katie A.
(1)Troy M.
(4)Carol S.

(5)Lorrie L.

(5)Vicki L.

(5)Rick S.
Some of the best food we have had. Wonderful lasagne. The Salmon was terrific. Come eat here. Period!
(5)Tom B.
The food is well prepared with fresh ingredients. However most of the dishes lacked flavor and needed additional seasoning. We ordered sides of chile sauce and salad dressing for this chore.
(4)Jesse C.
Local ingredients. High quality food. A wide variety of food on the menu with great seasonal selections. I had the meat ball soup and vegetable curry with a porter beer from left hand brewery. Everything was delicious.
(5)Candace W.
(4)Canton B.
(5)Django Z.
Had a great meal there with friends recently. The prices are a little high, but the prixe fixe makes it more affordable. Looking forward to trying lunch there sometime. Good quality ingredients, great flavors. Joins our short list of good mid-range places to eat at in Santa Fe.
(5)Frank O.
(4)Krispie P.
Some dishes are good but not excellent. The food can be inconsistent. The quinoa cakes are delish. Prices are a tad high.

(2)Richard T.
(2)Storm A.
(5)Judith P.
Excellent lunch! Unique menu - a little Vietnamese, American and New Mexico Mexican. Had a BLT w/ green chilies and cheese. Table mate had the chicken enchiladas. Both great dishes.
(5)WB D.
(1)Jennie B.
(5)Dawn M.
Great breakfast burrito with sweet potatoes! I got turkey sausage too. Yummy coffee, friendly staff, wifi, and the good hot sauces! Win!
(5)mary m.
WOW! Talk about integrity and tasty almost gourmet food, yupp its here at Sweetwater. There is so much to enjoy and the food is of high quality and of high standards. Presentation and everything is so fresh and so delicious. These fols made food an art to the the senses. Enjoy!
(5)YumTown Y.

Please!
(4)Bandito B.
(4)Cornelious A.
Had brunch here on Sunday very nice. Their menu is simply and good. I enjoyed their Watermelon Fresca, it is very refreshing. They also have a nice patio area to dine in while visiting and the service was professional and fast.
(5)Damon B.
The dishes were dish-liscious! We had the Strata, the Vietnamese sandwich and the house salad.
(4)Devon D.

In SF there are 31 place is noted on the food network we found this place through yelp it's a farm to table restaurant
(4)Arturo G.

(5)Andrew S.
(3)Isabel L.
Love the breakfast here. Omelette with sweet potato hash and black beans was lovely. They also have fresh lemonade, agua fresca, and herbal tea. Lemonade with hibiscus tea mixture was really nice. The place is light and airy and they have some outdoor seating as well.
(5)Jennifer O.
(4)Sara B.
This place is super cute! The menu is light, organic and filled with healthy options like steamed kale with your eggs, sweet potato hash and gf bread. The buck wheat pancakes were also awesome. I would come back and bring my kiddo! The only problem is the parking is horrible.
(4)Kate C.
(3)David R.
(3)K R.
(5)L O.
(1)Canton B.
(5)Frank O.
(4)Krispie P.
Some dishes are good but not excellent. The food can be inconsistent. The quinoa cakes are delish. Prices are a tad high.
(3)Jennie B.
(5)Amy E.

(2)Storm A.
(5)Judith P.
Excellent lunch! Unique menu - a little Vietnamese, American and New Mexico Mexican. Had a BLT w/ green chilies and cheese. Table mate had the chicken enchiladas. Both great dishes.
(5)WB D.

Great breakfast burrito with sweet potatoes! I got turkey sausage too. Yummy coffee, friendly staff, wifi, and the good hot sauces! Win!

WOW! Talk about integrity and tasty almost gourmet food, yupp its here at Sweetwater. There is so much to enjoy and the food is of high quality and of high standards. Presentation and everything is so fresh and so delicious. These fols made food an art to the the senses. Enjoy!

(5)Caleb R.
(5)Anne J.
This is my lunchtime happy place -- I've ordered a variety of things, and you can't go wrong. My favorite is the sesame soba noodle and kale salad -- there's something about the dressing that just makes your life go zing!
(5)Daven L.
(5)Carol S.

(1)Tom B.

(4)Mary C.
(4)YumTown Y.

(2)Candace C.
Stopped by for lunch having read about this place in the current issue of edible. I like to support new start-ups. The food was great, the space is well done. I had the sunny side flatbread - yummy. Give it a try.
(4)Paul P.
Fantastic food! Veggie friendly. Great lunch spot - a great find just a few mins from Cerrillos Rd and St. Michael's. They take a lot of pride in their cooking. The coffee was strong and excellent, and their lunch items were really, really delicious.
(5)Lorrie L.
(2)Christina R.
(3)Caroline O.

(5)John M.
We try real hard to eat good honest god, but when traveling it can be hard. Not here at Sweetwater Harvest. We had a great breakfast made with real food. The atmosphere is open and airy and comfortable. We will eat here again.

(2)Madi M.
(5)Andrew K.
(2)Jordana G.

We really enjoyed our breakfast. The breakfast burrito was delicious and so where the huevos rancheros!

Some of the best food we have had. Wonderful lasagne. The Salmon was terrific. Come eat here. Period!

(4)Jillian P.
Please!
(4)Bandito B.
(4)Devon D.

(1)Sara B.
This place is super cute! The menu is light, organic and filled with healthy options like steamed kale with your eggs, sweet potato hash and gf bread. The buck wheat pancakes were also awesome. I would come back and bring my kiddo! The only problem is the parking is horrible.
(4)Kate C.
(3)David R.

(1)Christina R.
(3)Caroline O.

We try real hard to eat good honest god, but when traveling it can be hard. Not here at Sweetwater Harvest. We had a great breakfast made with real food. The atmosphere is open and airy and comfortable. We will eat here again.

Some of the best food we have had. Wonderful lasagne. The Salmon was terrific. Come eat here. Period!

Some dishes are good but not excellent. The food can be inconsistent. The quinoa cakes are delish. Prices are a tad high.

Great breakfast burrito with sweet potatoes! I got turkey sausage too. Yummy coffee, friendly staff, wifi, and the good hot sauces! Win!

Don't tip at the cash register before you get your food. It took forever and we had to go back and get our own drinks. Food was not even that good. Vibe was nice but I don't see the point of tipping when you have to get everything yourself. If I'm gonna help myself, I'm gonna keep my tip to myself.
